You can run a real Hong Kong restaurant queue on a free plan, but eventually growth, multiple branches or paid tickets push you towards a paid tier. This guide lays out the actual restaurant queue pricing in HKD, with the moment each plan starts to pay for itself — and the moment it stops being worth it.
What the free plan actually covers
TickIt Easy's free plan covers 1 branch, 1 ticket category (say "Walk-in"), 1 staff user, the mobile ticketing flow and the fullscreen calling display. It is enough to replace paper tickets for a solo venue — you get real waitlist data, missed-turn rejoin, push notifications and multilingual display for TC / SC / EN. The catch: no second branch, no VIP category, no promo strip.
Starter (HKD 100/month): when it pays for itself
Starter unlocks unlimited ticket categories, party-size buckets, multi-session scheduling (lunch / dinner) and additional staff seats — for the price of a single dim sum booking. It pays for itself the moment you add a second category such as "VIP / walk-in" or a second daily session, and it is the usual starting plan for venues running dinner and late-night queues.
Pro (HKD 200/month): paid traffic and promo slots
Pro adds a promo strip on the waiting screen, useful for upselling set lunches, desserts or seasonal menus while guests wait. It also unlocks multi-branch (added at +HKD/branch), analytics on average wait, peak hour heatmap and per-category throughput. Ideal for groups running 3 or more branches, or any venue whose wait is long enough that the screen is a real advertising slot.
Enterprise: what the listed plans do not show
Enterprise unlocks paid tickets and deposits (deposit-on-ticket for popular tables), white-label branded displays for chains, unlimited branches with no add-on, SSO for staff and SLAs. Pricing is project-based; for most operators the upgrade is triggered by paid-ticket use cases (deposit-required special menus, ticketed tasting events) or brand consistency requirements across 5+ branches.
When to skip the upgrade
Skip Pro if your average wait is under 15 minutes — guests will not read a promo strip that flashes by. Skip Enterprise if you only ever run one branch and never sell tickets — the add-on branches alone do not justify it. The full pricing comparison lets you mix features from each tier; do not pay for a tier when three features from the next one down already cover your operation.
Frequently asked questions
Is there really a free plan, or is it a trial?
Yes, the free plan is a permanent plan — not a 30-day trial that auto-converts. You can run a single branch on it indefinitely; many solo venues never upgrade. The 30-day Starter trial is a separate promo on top of signup.
What does the Starter plan cost in total per year?
HKD 100/month, billed monthly or annually. Annual billing removes roughly one month of cost. Multi-branch add-ons are priced per branch on top, so a 3-branch group would pay HKD 100/month × branches configured.
Do I need a credit card to start?
No. The 30-day free Starter trial and the free permanent plan both work without a card. You only add payment when you choose to keep a paid tier after the trial.
When does Pro start to make sense?
When average wait crosses 15–20 minutes and the screen becomes a real advertising surface for set lunches, desserts or seasonal items, or when you run 3+ branches and need consolidated analytics.
How much does Enterprise cost?
Project-based. Paid tickets, white-label displays, multi-branch rollouts and SSOs each have their own scoping conversation. The pricing page lists the trigger features; for an exact quote book a call through the signup flow.
